Many medical procedures are improved significantly with the assistance of imaging. With this in mind, we offer a range of musculoskeletal procedures in conjunction with our MSK imaging services. Our imaging services include x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and fluoroscopy, and we provide procedures and treatments for both NHS and private referrals in the North West area.
Some of the treatments we provide:
- Steroid injections into joints e.g. hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, elbow, wrist, thumb, and fingers
- Steroid injections into bursa e.g. subacromial or trochanteric bursa
- PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) injections
- Morton's neuroma treatments including steroid injections, alcohol ablation or Cryoablation
- Barbotage for rotator cuff calcific tendonitis
- Dry needling for tendonitis
- Hydrodilatation for frozen shoulder
- Aspiration of cysts / ganglion
- Perineural injections
- Plantar fascia treatment
We provide tendon treatments for:
- Achilles/patellar tendinopathy
- Epicondylitis of the elbow
With the guidance of musculoskeletal radiology, we also provide spinal injections using image guidance ( CT and fluoroscopic guidance) we can perform spinal injections for degenerative disc disease, facet joint, nerve and coccygeal pain:
- Nerve root injections
- Epidural injections
- Facet joint injections
- Sacroiliac joint injections
- Spinal biopsies
